Capecare, Dunsborough Officially Opens

Gary Batt Associates Architects (GBA) are pleased to announce the opening of Capecare Dunsborough, the first aged care facility for the rapidly-growing Dunsborough community.Comprising of an 80-bed residential care facility, 21 two-bedroom, two-bathroom independent living apartments plus community facilities including a Country Women’s Association Hall and a village clubhouse. The community demand, central location and appealing design have helped create an extremely successful and in- demand development.

The opening of the facility is a major milestone for GBA Architects with the project commencing construction in October 2019 and official opening October 7th 2021.

Exciting News! Gary Batt and Associate Architects have been announced as finalists for the 2021 The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence in the Retirement, Aged Care and Seniors Living category for Capecare Dunsborough.

After a tumultuous year we were thrilled to learn that our West Arthur Independent Living Units has won the Master Builders 2020 Building Excellent Awards for Best Multi Unit Development 2 - 5 Units!

GBA Featured in the World Alzheimers Report 2020!

We are thrilled to be featured in the recently released World Alzheimer Report 2020: 'Design, dignity and dementia; dementia-related design and the built environment' for our work at Killara Lodge Day Centre in Northam, WA.

Recognising innovators and pioneers in dementia design and the built environment, GBA are honoured to be included and hope to educate and inspire future leaders in this field.

Mid Year Design News

It was a pleasure to have our overseas client in from Hong Kong this week.

The seven storey senior development in the exclusive Happy Valley location will comprise of Retirement Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care Living.

Meath Club House Grand Opening

It was fantastic to see the residents utilising the new facilities at Meath Care Club House.
