Gary Batt Associates Architects were involved in 5 new “ageing in place” Villa’s on the edge of Darkan, Western Australia. 

Vehicle access is from the outside allowing all Villa’s to address the Village Green. Living Room areas of all Units have a north aspect and have an outlook to the shared gardens. All Kitchens and Bedroom 1 also overlook the Village Green, adding to the sense of community. The houses have simple forms and the materials match the houses in the town.
